

About Me
My name is Tom Harrison, and many people come to me when success has started to feel heavier than expected.
When achievement brings pressure instead of pride.
When wealth creates guilt, responsibility, or a sense of being “out of place.”
When they’re supporting everyone else but struggling to support themselves.
I created this space to give people a place to talk about the emotional side of success — openly, safely, and without judgement.
Who I Am
I’m a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, based in Broadstairs, Kent, and working online or over the telephone with clients across the UK.
My training is pluralistic, which means I draw from several therapeutic approaches — Person Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — and I tailor the work to what you need, rather than to a fixed method.
How I Work
My approach is collaborative, steady, and grounded in respect.
I don’t diagnose you or tell you who you should be.
Instead, we explore the emotional patterns shaping your life — the beliefs you’ve inherited, the roles you’ve learned to play, and the expectations you’ve been carrying.
My pluralistic training allows me to adapt our work as your needs evolve:
Person Centred when you need space, empathy, and a supportive therapeutic relationship
Psychodynamic when underlying patterns, roles, or past experiences are influencing how things feel today
CBT‑informed when practical tools and new perspectives can help you move forward
Clients often describe the work as “relieving,” “clarifying,” and “like finally being able to breathe.”
